Mandy has a Master's in Social Work from Wilfird Laurier University and is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She is trained in Level II EMDR and in Clinical Hypnosis. Mandy has completed extensive training in complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) that includes some neurobiological training with the Traumatic Stress Services team at London Health Sciences Centre. Mandy seeks to meet the potential that each person has within themselves, meeting people as they are using an atmosphere of safety, acceptance and confidentiality. She is attuned to the needs of the individual so the therapeutic process begins with the issues that are presented. For some this means gaining new skills for current situations and for others it can mean doing some deep healing work for the past. Areas of interest are: Trauma recovery Anxiety and phobias Depression Stress management Smoking Cessation Individual growth |
